Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the western in an awesome game for early level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the dealer, not like nearly all other poker games that players bet with other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, new players don’t need to be concerned about other, more advanced people taking their moolla.

Another Pai Gow edge is the generally slow game play, rookies will be able to take their time and strategize while not having to make hasty selections.

It is also much simpler to gamble on for a very long time with just a small amount of money since, to not win, each of your hands must be under each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the house receives seven cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
