Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the west in a fantastic game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the house, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers wager against other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, beginning players do not have to be concerned about any other, more skillful gamblers winning their moolla.

One more Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game play, novices are able to take their time and scheme while not having to make hasty selections.

It’s also simpler to play for an extended time with only a tiny amount of money seeing as, to not win, each of your hands needs to be under both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the house is dealt seven cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and a two card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
