Have you seen the new PokerPro hold’em poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about 2 weeks ago when I took a brief holiday with my wife to the WinStar Gambling den in Oklahoma.

As I waited for my name to be acknowledged at the live tables, I watched how the other individuals at the PokerPro tables interface with each other. It was very fascinating to say the very least. Because the poker table was computer controlled, there were no clay poker chips to do any chip tips, no cards to shuffle and the real live encounter was stale. Maybe I was the only one that discovered this, but I did observe the gamblers at the table had a lifeless high quality to them. The reason for this may possibly be since there was no human discussion with the dealer, the environment was relatively boring and the gamblers looked uninterested. It was almost as if I was viewing a live version of an online texas holdem poker room rather than being seated with warm bodied humans. It was a little bizarre and I continued to have flash backs to an episode of Star trek and the holodeck malfunctioned.

Since the waiting time for the live tables for more than an hour, I made the decision to see how the casino game play was and to experience this new texas hold’em poker gaming technologies. After playing a few hands, I really felt like I was betting at residence. The lack of activity at the table was the primary reason. I like to shuffle my chips, stack my chips, and mix my cards around. None of those things are possible at these computer tables.

One more thing I noticed was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I played a whole lot of hands in the PokerPro table and discovered that the wager on was a good deal like an internet based hold’em poker site. That might have been just a coincidence, except I found it to be incredibly odd.

After betting a couple of rounds with this "unique hold em poker technology", I determined that the PokerPro tables have been not for me. I’m far better off betting hold’em poker on the net at residence and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling establishment had been to receive rid of the are living poker tables, I think they would shed a great deal of gamblers.
